I ran 3 different team formats on the day, with 2 of them combining to give an overall Team Score. On the first 9 holes teams played Best Ball with 2 scores counting at each hole (although I did force everyone to score on their 8th Hole). Alongside that competition I put on the 'Keep Ball' Challenge where each player played a hole with a special ball, marking the score they made on the card then passing the ball to the next player to play a hole. The Team would then either end up with a 9 hole 'Keep Ball' Score or they would have lost the ball ! The players past through halfway where they collected a Burger and a Beer prepared and served beautifully by Ross on his last day with us here at Portlethen! And although I joked about it at the time, Ross was not honing his burger flipping skills as a prelude to his new career choice ! Then it was on to the second 9 which saw the format switch to Texas Scramble. In all we had 44 Teams of 4 take part. Here are the results and photos of those winning teams.
